A few facts about Korean:
Korean is spoken by an estimated 78 million people around the world.
North Korean has 24 million people, South Korea has 50 million people.
Korean sentence order is Subject-Object-Verb. It is an agglutinative language.
Korean alphabet has 10 basic vowels, 4 derived vowels and 14 consonants. It can be picked up relatively easily.
